Green Hills has been crowned the best in the North West at the prestigious Local Authority Building Control (LABC) Regional Excellence Awards 2019.
The LABC Building Excellence Awards recognise quality and best practice in any construction project which has used local authority building control.
Green Hills beat off strong competition to win the Best Volume Development category at the awards held at Emirates Old Trafford, Manchester and will now be automatically entered into the National Grand Final to be held in London in November where it will compete against developments from across the UK.
Green Hills impressed the judges for innovation, sustainability, site and project management and performance on building regulations.
Paul Jones, Kingswood Homes managing director, said: “Winning an LABC Award will give all of our customers complete confidence in the quality of the new home they are purchasing.
“We have worked incredibly hard at Green Hills to ensure our homes are constructed to the highest possible standards and to be named the best in the North West is a fantastic achievement.
“Our construction team at Green Hills has an unrivalled level of attention to detail and we hope the love and care which goes into building this award-winning scheme will stand us in good stead to go on to try and win the national award later this year.”
Green Hills is a new community of 167 homes situated around two new village greens and designed by Wayne and Gerardine Hemingway MBE.
There are just a handful of homes available in the phase one of the scheme with the next phase set to be released in May.
The development was named Best Development in the North West at the Insider NW Property Awards in 2018.
